AmeriCares Emergency Airlift Arrives in Myanmar

AmeriCares has landed in Yangon, Myanmar, delivering over 15 tons of critically needed medicines and medical supplies to survivors of Cyclone Nargis. We have made arrangements for transportation, labor, warehouse storage and other assistance required to ensure the aid is distributed directly to people in need.

Our partner on the ground has been providing health care services to the delta region and our supplies will help enable them to restore health and save lives
throughout the devastated areas.

AmeriCares is among the first nonprofit organizations to deliver aid directly into Myanmar, and we plan to continue providing assistance to the people of Myanmar who are struggling to recover from the cyclone’s devastation. Help save lives in Myanmar and around the world. »
