The Americares Leadership Council is a proud community of individuals building a world in which all people have pathways to health and opportunity. The group joins together to support philanthropy, advocacy and community events that help save lives and improve health for people affected by poverty and disaster across the globe. 

The Leadership Council advances the mission of Americares in a variety of ways:  

• As philanthropists, members personally contribute financially to Americares work, lend their networks and unique expertise, and encourage others to join in support.  
• As advocates, members are engaged and informed, promoting the organization’s message and concerns in their communities.  
• As advisors, members share their knowledge of their local region and lend their professional expertise to help Americares build a regional presence and raise awareness around important health issues.  

Americares Metro Area Leadership Council is a subset of the national Americares Leadership Council. It is a proud community of individuals building a world in which all people have pathways to health and opportunity. • As advocates, members are engaged and informed, promoting the organization’s message and concerns in their Bay Area communities.
• As strategic advisors, members share their knowledge of the Bay Area and lend their professional expertise to help Americares build a strong regional presence, strengthen our local impact – and raise awareness around important health issues.
• As philanthropists, members personally contribute financially to Americares work, lend their networks and unique expertise, and encourage others in the Bay Area to join in support.

The Chicago Council is a subset of Americares National Leadership Council. It is a proud community of active ambassadors for Americares, dedicated to building a world in which all people have pathways to health and opportunity. This group joins together to support philanthropy, advocacy and community events that help save lives and improve health for people affected by poverty and disaster across the globe.

The Los Angeles Council stands as a united community of passionate Americares supporters, committed to shaping a world where everyone can access health and opportunities. Together, they rally behind philanthropic endeavors, advocacy initiatives, and community events that make a difference by saving lives and enhancing the well-being of those impacted by poverty and global disasters.
