A Global Reach for Health The CMA CGM Foundation will transport up to 100 Americares containers in 2024. These containers, filled with essential medicine and medical supplies, are integral to Americares mission to save lives and improve the health of people affected by poverty or disaster. This donated freight is crucial for our emergency response program and ongoing medicine security work. The reach of this effort spans multiple locations served by the CMA CGM Group, such as Cambodia, Colombia, the Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Ghana, Guatemala, Honduras, Liberia and Tanzania. Christine Squires, president and CEO of Americares, emphasizes the partnership’s impact: “Our new partnership with the CMA CGM Foundation will expand access to life-changing medicines and medical supplies for disaster survivors and children and adults in poverty. We expect to increase humanitarian aid shipments to the 4,000 hospitals and health centers Americares supports worldwide as a result.”
A Legacy of Hope Facing conflicts and natural disasters, the Foundation leverages the expertise in transport and logistics solutions of the CMA CGM Group to promptly and efficiently assist populations affected by crises.
