Vice Chair of the Board, Americares Foundation
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Jennison Associates 

Jeffrey Becker joined the Americares board in 2014 and was elected vice chair in 2022. Mr. Becker currently serves as the chairman and chief executive officer of Jennison Associates, a firm that has distinguished itself in the financial services industry for more than 50 years by delivering investment excellence and developing long-term partnerships with clients that often span decades.

Prior to joining Jennison in 2016, Mr. Becker was the chief executive officer of Voya Investment Management, the asset management subsidiary of Voya Financial. While at Voya, he was responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company’s asset management business, including its institutional, retail funds, retirement and proprietary portfolio segments. From 2009 to 2013, Mr. Becker served as the chief executive officer of ING Investment Management Americas responsible for ING’s investment activities in the U.S., Canada and Latin America. Prior to that, he held various executive positions with ING including vice chairman, chief operating officer and chief financial officer. Mr. Becker’s extensive financial experience also includes senior management roles at Aeltus Investment Management, Aetna and Arthur Andersen’s financial consulting practice.

He received a bachelor’s degree in economics from Colgate University and a Master of Business Administration in finance from New York University’s Stern School of Business. He is a member of the Economic Clubs of New York and Washington, D.C., and an advisory board member of the Institutional Investor’s U.S. Institute. He also serves as chair of the Americares Free Clinics Board of Directors.
