Mr. Sadove joined Americares Board of Directors in 2014 shortly after retiring as chairman and chief executive officer of Saks Incorporated. Prior to joining Saks in 2002, Mr. Sadove built a distinguished marketing and consumer products career with General Foods USA and Bristol-Myers Squibb Company where he led the Clairol division and completed the sale of the beauty care business to Procter & Gamble.
He currently serves on numerous community and civic boards including Hamilton College as Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Americares and the National Retail Federation (former Chairman) as well as the public company boards of Colgate-Palmolive (lead director), Aramark, Park Hotels and Resorts and Movado Group, Inc. He is also a founding partner of JW Levin Management Partners, a Private Equity firm. Mr. Sadove is a graduate of Hamilton College and holds an MBA with distinction from Harvard Business School. He is also a recipient of an Honorary Doctor of Commercial Science Degree from LIM College.
